Alex Deparvu commented on OAK-7906:
-----------------------------------

travisci seems to have support for java12, so I setup a custom branch to test
this out [0].
{noformat}
openjdk version "12-ea" 2019-03-19
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 12-ea+20)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 12-ea+20, mixed mode, sharing)
{noformat}

build looks good so far, but I only see the IT tests in the logs, there must be
something I'm not getting here.
they also have some partial windows support, after this build is done, I
scheduled a win one to see if/how this actually works.

I googled around a bit and seems appveyor is the go to for windows support, so
I setup a job there as well [1]. unfortunately this one fails and I don't know
why yet (also not sure about java12 support).
