Amit Jain commented on OAK-8840: -------------------------------- Yes we can move it to Oak hopefully without too many issues, as now there are not too many dependencies required. What are absolutely required are a few top-level interfaces in the {{org.apache.jackrabbit.core.data}} package but other packages are not required. With regards to {{DbDataStoreService}}, it is not used internally, but was added to support Jackrabbit DataStores. I haven't seen it used, but since its present not sure what is the way forward. Deprecate it first? > move jackrabbit-data into Oak > ----------------------------- > > Key: OAK-8840 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-8840 > Project: Jackrabbit Oak > Issue Type: Task > Components: blob > Reporter: Julian Reschke > Priority: Major > > jackrabbit-data is one of the few remaining dependencies on Jackrabbit. For instance, I assumed that DB-backed data stores aren't used in Oak, > but then found out about {{DbDataStoreService}}.
