Konrad Windszus commented on OAK-9854:
--------------------------------------
> This information is wrong and useless.
It wouldn't be if after every release a republish of the website is a
mandatory step (which I assumed). Then it would always point to the current
SNAPSHOT in trunk.
> Remove version information from Oak pages
> -----------------------------------------
>
> Key: OAK-9854
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-9854
> Project: Jackrabbit Oak
> Issue Type: Task
> Components: doc
> Reporter: Marcel Reutegger
> Priority: Minor
>
> Oak documentation pages show a version on the right hand side of the
> breadcrumb. This information is wrong and useless. It is usually a snapshot
> version that has nothing to do with the latest stable release.
> I suggest to remove the version from the site definition. This would be in
> line with how the rest of the Jackrabbit website is generated.
