this PR however only covers [part
1|https://github.com/apache/jackrabbit-oak/pull/1605#pullrequestreview-2225122253]
and we should either continue with [part
2|https://github.com/apache/jackrabbit-oak/pull/1605#pullrequestreview-2225122253]
or do that in a follow-up ticket.
