"The implementation first checks if the segment is present in the persistent
cache. This is actually not correct. A segment may be present in the cache, but
that doesn't mean the segment belongs to the archive this reader is based on.
All archive reader implementations also keep an in-memory index of segments
they contain. That is, calling delegate.containsSegment() should be cheaper and
not involve I/O."
