It would be good to discuss a few more questions related to FTs (-> more
documentation?).
- live cycle (this ticket) - how long should they be kept (given that they
introduce moer more paths, and are harder to test in combination)
- when to use them (simple bug fix? missing feature? perf improvement?)
- when they can't be (simply) used: incompatible dependencies; exported APIs
- recommended ways to test and how to rename / default them
