There have been numerous reports of issues with OAuth2 and GData. I hope
this is not off-topic, but this is severely debilitating for us and we need
to find a solution.

Here is an example StackOverflow post: Google Drive API 1.8.1 - Large file
upload/download
issue<http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23696484/google-drive-api-1-8-1-large-file-upload-download-issue>.

Large file transfers using GData fail after exactly 1 hour, as if the
refresh token is not being received by Google.

Are there any Googlers here who can shed light on this problem and let us
know when there will be a fix? As far as we're aware, this issue is more
than a year old.

Other reports:

Any help would be appreciated.
