Having said that, OAuth itself is not RESTful as it does not adhere to
HATEOAS principle. I have suggested something like that in the past [1].
There were some support in the room but there were a few people who opposed
to it strongly and it was not taken up after all.

Needless to say, OAuth can be used to protect RESTful service after it has
gotten the tokens. That's what it was designed for.
