As a follow-up to the scope discussion in the latest interim meeting, I’d like
to share a recent preprint I’ve been working on about carrying additional
authorization information for MCP authorization.
I’d be very interested in feedback from the group, as the motivation behind the
work overlaps with the discussion in the last part of the presentation,
particularly around the limitations of broad scopes in agentic use cases and
how authorization decisions might be made more specific to a given request.
