I am curious on who is doing Animalathon ( 335 km ride from Britannia Beach ) on June 24th. I did 300 km of this route on May 13th with four other Randonneurs and enjoyed the ride and was interested on the history of who does the ride and how the group rides. I think Sally did an article or posted some info last year. On the 300 km, we stopped three times, first in Calabogie for breakfast, then a water fill-up at Eganville and then a quick stop at a store in Arnprior. I did the 300 km ride with Mike Lang , a new OBC member, and we averaged ~ 30 km /hr. If there is enough interest, perhaps I can convince Mike to do it again on this OBC ride.
