I'm feeling like a voyeur. Is it your way of informing the other applicants of the process? Please, if so, say so, maybe by providing some context. I could also just interpret this as your way of announcing your candidacy for the position. Is that what Ms Bell means by "You should expect to hear from us...". Did you send them an application and a letter inquiring whether you got the job? That information would make your posting much more clear, too, if no more important.
