Due to a late start, about high noon and the poor weather I was only able to check the new section and return by the Island of Notre Dame. I am pleased also to note that most of the constrution on the Lachince canal locks is under contral with paved detours or newly opened routes at the locks. I did not go into Old Montreal or North to mount Royal as I'm sure their still there. So when all is said and done. If we get great weather (will go regardless, will not be cancelled). And if we make all points of interst mentioned in the report I just sent. It is my guess that it will be between 75 & 85 Km's but will seem longer as there is much to see. This ride is very flat other than the few hills going North to La Fontaine Park and the buggy path up Mount Royal which is quite easy to climb as it is a very low grade up. > > Looking forward to hearing more about it. > > BTW, what's the estimated distance of the ride? > > Carol > ~~~~~~~ > _________________________________________________________________________ > Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. > ------ To unsubscribe, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Club Office: [EMAIL PROTECTED], (613) 230-1064 Web/mailing list: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.cyberus.ca/~obcweb Newsletter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.cyberus.ca/~obcweb/Newsletter ==^================================================================ EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?aVxiDo.a2i8p1 Or send an email To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This email was sent to: [email protected] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
