I have just learned from the keeper of OBC, Rosmarie Gerber that the OBC van will be available for the Montreal "Short" Tour 28/07/01. Arraignments will be made by Rosmarie for me to pick it up on Friday the 27/07/01. It is requested that all member who have transportation, to bring their wheels to James residence. We will not, all be able to go in the van and space will be allotted in the van by the first eight cyclist on the "Sir >James" list. unless one of those cyclist volunteers to drive their car. the main thing is we want to insure that all who want to go, can do so. There is parking in James driveway and quiet street. There is still time to join this tour which should prove very interesting (remember to bring your camera). Only about 10 km's will be cycled with car traffic and even then you will be on a protected bike path. The other 70 km's will all be on very wide and very smooth paved bike-paths through beautiful parks with water very close by and a little hard packed cider to make it interesting. There is no limit to the number of cyclist who can attend. However, "Sir James" would like to know as soon as possible, he may have to book reservations for lunch and dinner if we have a large crowd and that should not be done at the last moment. So forget waiting for the weather forecast and join in. and help make this a tour to remember for the great time you had and the enjoyment you brought the others.
