John J. Barnhardt,
Is resting in the General Hospital, room 7511.
Phone 737-8899 ext. 76112.

Sir James just called and spoke with John and his wife.

He does not remember the accident or the trip to the hospital.

The swelling in his head is gone down but he is still a little weak in the
legs and has a sore shoulder, making his right arm weak.

He thinks he will be in the hospital until Wednesday and is talking about
replacing his helmet and hopes he will not miss the Montreal Tour this
weekend. I hope he will rest and recover well and wait until next year for
the tour. However, It sounds like he is mending and the accident has not
dampened his interest in cycling and the OBC.

As he has no idea how the accident happened. Any information sent to me will
be passed to John. and I hope you all will take the time to phone him and
wish him well.
Thanks, "Sir James"
