I can report that the Vermont weekend was great and the 20% grade
up Smuggler's Notch challenging. Now we approach the closing date to
register for another great OBC weekend event, the Summer's End Century Tour.
Registration closes Saturday.
Join the approx 100 who have already registered. Apart from the 3% over
Highway 401, no incline is greater than 1.7485%. Definitely a tour for
those of Dutch heritage (Bram?), other flatlanders, and you that enjoy the
pastural scenery traffic-free roads of the Seaway Valley. Sunday's return
will again include the Club picnic by the river in Russell. We've been
promised that the site will be spruced up and picnic tables added.
