I have been told that on August 4th a notice in the Ottawa Citizen reported the death of Joe Gecius on July 24th. Joe was a former Director at Large of the OBC in 1999 and was known as a regular and an occasional tour leader on Sunday rides. He was 44 years of age and single. The circumstances of his death are not known. Our sincere condolences go out to brother Paul and his family.
