Next Tuesday being the last Tuesday Tour of the Season will be a short tour using the Data Centre and Uplands Road to do a spin around the Ottawa Airport Terminal returning by the Airport Parkway. On returning to Billings Bridge, We plan to drop over to Baxter's for a drink to end the season in style. Baxter's is on the West side of Bank Street between the two roads (for each direction of traffic) on Riverside Drive. All OBC members are welcome to join in. It is suggested that if you are cycling and have a car you might wish to come to Billings by car and secure your bike in your car after the ride. If your not cycling we plan to be at Baxter's by 7:30 PM. Hope to see you there. 18/09/01 Eight cyclist enjoyed a rather short tour as this was the next to last Tuesday Night Tour of the season. It just gets to dark to soon. for all our working cyclists. We did a quick tour of 37 km's and managed to get back before darkness but just. Route was: Riverside Rd West, River Rd, Rideau Rd, Bowesville Rd, Alert Rd, Airport Pkwy. We had visits from OBC member.John Barnhardt. John dropped by to say hello to the cyclist and report that he is recovering from his nasty fall slowly. He was in great spirit and said that he missed the Tuesday and Sunday rides. He plans to spin all winter and is also going to take some YMCA training. so that he will be prepared for next year's cycling. I'm sure we all wish him well. Two non members paid their dues, both were past members of OBC and plans to join again by the start of next years season. They were Phil Houstown and Ewan Smith.
