The counsellor's comments are just so rich. Mr. Stefan at least includes that both cyclists and motorists have responsibilities. He needs to be scolded by the others for his insight, and generous use of sunscreen upon his neck. > Coun. "The Ottawa-Kingston race is a > disgrace every May.[the bicyclists] > take over Perth Road." Somebody needs to show this guy what a race is, and isn't. Somehow, the perception of a race needs to be addressed. Do the "numbers" do this? Maybe just a common tag, with small-print number, not visible by car, for the purposes of bag-check. > Coun. "Bicyclists force motorist to make unsafe pass". I think Mr. Lake needs to consider how the concept of liability is actually applied in the region. I expect many other things are backwards, if this is the way he thinks, and leads. "Bicyclists force motorist to make unsafe pass". My vulcan mind-meld applied successfully to motorists coming up from behind, so that they lose all judgement and sense, to say nothing of the prosecutors, counselors or administrators whom I've influenced that would absolve the motorists of any legal responsibility for their absurd actions. Spock would be proud that I needn't make bodily contact to achieve this. Beware me. If only I used my powers for good, rather than evil.
