Citizens for Safe Cycling invites you to join us for our Movie Night on
Wednesday, March 27th 2002.

- Are you getting tired of winter and eager for the arrival of spring?
- Have you missed the company of other cyclists over the winter months?
- Do you yearn to fly over bare, snow-free roads? (on your bike, of course)

Then come be in the company of other cyclists and friends and enjoy a
presentation of the classic bicycling movie, "Breaking Away" (1979), and get
geared up for the start of the fair-weather cycling season.

WHO: CfSC members and non-members alike are welcome. Bring along a friend!
The event is free for CfSC members and $2 for non-members. (Non-members
may join CfSC at the door and get free admission.)

WHAT: A big-screen-TV showing of "Breaking Away", the 1979 film about four
highschool graduates, one of whom wins a racing bicycle which becomes the
vehicle for fulfilling his dreams about Italian bike racing. Popcorn and
juice will be available at a nominal cost.

WHERE: At the Sandy Hill Community Centre (250 Somerset Street East),
close by the University of Ottawa. There is some bicycle parking available,
and the Community Centre is a short 5-minute walk east of the Transitway's
Campus stop (routes 8, 85, 86,87, 95, and 97). Car parking is in the back.

WHEN: Wednesday March 27th, 2002, from 7:30pm until 9:30pm.

WHY: To celebrate the arrival of spring, to be in the company of other
cyclists, and to just sit back and enjoy the show!

HOW: Space is limited, so please reply to this email or phone 744-4454
and leave a message to register, letting us know that you will attend and if
you're bringing a friend(s).

See you there!
