VIRGINIA TOUR 2002 - UPDATE
The tour is filling up however there are still a few places left for anyone wanting to enjoy some fine cycling in Virginia from April 26 to May 5. This year's inn, Meander Plantation http://www.meander.net/, is really great as we know from having stayed there last year. The setting is beautiful... Picture an ante-bellum estate surrounded by rolling, green countryside and horses frolicking about. The quiet countryside is conducive to relaxation and urban Charlottesville is but a stone's throw away if the quiet is too destabilizing! Suzie's (the innkeeper) cooking is absolutely fabulous - she runs gourmet cooking classes on the premises. So while you're out there making the most of this extended (!) ski season, why not make plans to escape to Virginia in April.
