Hi folks, I had an inquiry the other day about eye protection for cyclists (i.e., her husband)who wear glasses. The woman was looking for goggles or cycling eyewear that can go overtop of regular glasses. I suggested to her to try a ski shop or even better a ski/bike shop. They would be the most likely to carry a wide array of ski goggles, including those that are designed to fit over glasses (and have interchangeable lenses. Anyone know what shops carry these?
I also suggested MEC, although I am not sure what kind of stuff like that they carry. I think the idea is for wind & water protection. I am not sure if Rx glasses specific to cycling are an option for this family. I've seen them, they are great but $$$, and I think only from an optometrist? Are there any other creative ideas out there? I would appreciate any advice you can offer to this list. I said I would get back to her this week. Thanks!
