For list help, please send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] We had a total of 20 cyclist tonight to enjoy a 37.7 Km ride to the South of Ottawa. Route was Riverside Rd. - River Rd. - Rideau Rd. - Bowesville Rd. Alert Rd. Airport Parkway back to Billings Bridge Plaza.
My guess is that we had 12 in the fast group with Scott as tour leader and 8 in the slower group with James leading. We had three non members in James's group who I think will join. I have been passing the word out to non members that they can only ride three times before joining due to new insurance regulations. Next weeks ride will be to Old Chelsea using roads and not bike paths. although I think they are mostly clear by now except the Aylmer bike path which a good part of it is under the Ottawa River which I found out late last Saturday on a ride to Meech Lake from Aylmer. Was planning on doing Manny's Gat's. tomorrow at ten AM from the Gamelin Parking lot but I have run into car problems (car will no idle) so it looks like I will be doing the spring tune-up on my car instead. Must make sure it's running good for the Tour of Quinte. Then there are about 101 things that need to be done around the house that should have been done by now but have not.
