Hi Sally, Many thanks for this info. After yesterday's windy Winchester ride, I'm not so sure I'd be able to keep up the speed demons of the Barrhaven Express. However, hopefully I'll be able to find a slightly slower group to ride with when exploring a ride with them next Saturday.
Just a quick note of thanks to Tom Stratton, George, David, Barry, Jackie, Helene, and Pauline for a great ride yesterday. Really enjoyed your company, and Helene and Pauline if you're on this list, great seeing you again, even after a two year absence! Despite the wind and the cool temperatures, I really can't think of a better way to spend a day then on a bike. Of course, the Subway sandwich was a great force in making for such a terrific ride. Tom, sorry for fading on you once back at Billings. That coffee made for one of those odd experiences when it actually made me sleepy, instead of the usual pick-me-up. Next time, I'll remember to have a nibble along with one. Considering the weather and all, I thought there was a great turn-out at Billings. Cheers to all who braved the elements.
