Finally one without rain (though a major downpour hit when I was 100 m from my driveway - hopefully it just served to clean my bike)!
Thirty one of us were out. The excitement of the night was probably the battle of the sexes. Patrick Roy powered through the windy event with a 22:18. In second place, a mere second slower than Patrick, was Holt Meshy, the lady from down-under who so impressed us with her speed last year. Even more incredible is the fact that she achieved this placing senza aero equipment - no aero bars, special wheels, etc. Anyway, Jim Glover gave me the results so that they could be posted on my site.
