Hi Roger, So, how was your weekend down in Kingston? What was the rest of the ride like for you and Phil after Merrickville?
True to plan, I made it on to Smith Falls, 20 kms, and Perth another 20 kms. You were certainly correct, the wind was a real 'delite'; not only going into it to get to Perth, but also a considerable ways back on the classic route from Perth to Ottawa. It wasn't until the route straightened out 10 kms before Blacks' Corners, that the wind was in my favour. By the time I got home, 7:45 pm, I'd completed 208.5 kms. I don't remember a previous ride where I ate so much. All in all, a great day, and thanks for the ride to Merrickville.
