I was wondering why we had a "large" group at lamp post 6. Sportif loss was are gain. As it was for the "slow" group, we also had a great ride, well I did. In part from some timely drafting. Despite for a flat on the 148 and a stiff head wind on a portion of the return. The stretch from the Cumberland ferry to Russell was a blast. The earler prediction at Billings from Touring Director Tom Stratton of 60+ km/hr for the extra sportif was not far off the mark. It was nice to ride with some old friends and be able to have the wind blow through my locks. I hope we get more Sundays like this one.
