Well that was a challenge - Cold, rainy weather with strong winds! Four riders, including two newcomers (in triathlon training under Julia Aimers) came out and somehow we convinced each other to do the event. It was difficult to maintain a speed above 25 km/h through the strong east wind on the way out, and our shivering bodies and numb extremities didn't allow much time recovery on the way back.
A special thanks to the volunteers - Joan and Ric Potter, Barb and Don Wilson, Nicole LaViolette and Caroline Ross.
