-----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: July 4, 2002 2:01 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Report from Massey Hi Marg and Barb & Hi all, I'm presently in Massey. Arrived here on Tuesday evening after 150 Kms of cycling in 34 degree temperature, however with a nice tail wind, therefore quite pleasant. Northern Ontario (North of Superior) was long and few and far between services, however, fabulous scenery. The road conditions were from excellent to awful,.. and everything in between, however all in all most pleasurable. Now going on to 4,400 Kms, and not a bit tired or bored of it, in fact after one day of Rest/visiting friends and family, I'm just itching to get back in the saddle again. I plan to leave tomorrow morning for Little Current where I will be spending the night with an old firend who has retired there, from my mining days. I'm hoping to arrive in Orillia at my Sister's place next monday evening, where I will spend at least one day with her. From there (Conditions permitting) it should take me 3 days to get to Ottawa. I will probably have to stay in Ottawa 2 or 3 days before I continue, to get my ! bike tuned up, my finances in orde r and say hi to most of you. The plan is still to get to St John's NFLD and then cycle back to Ottawa through the States, (if the bike isn't too tired that is!). I will probably e-mail or contact Barb and Marg by phone, once I leave Orillia and know more secificaly, my itinerary from there. That is in case any of you brave and bold cyclist wish to come and meet me to escort me into Ottawa, albeit at a Rambler's pace as I still am carrying approx 80 llbs of equipement. However (although I haven't weighed myself since I left) I beleive less weight on my body. I still however have a bit of a pot belly. I guess I have to get into an exercise program ha! ha! No jingles this time, "The poet in me is taking a rest". See you all soon and keep the rubber side on the road, Andre ------------------------------------------------- For list help, please send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Club Office: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (613) 230-1064 Web/mailing list: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.cyberus.ca/~obcweb Newsletter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.cyberus.ca/~obcweb/Newsletter ------------------------------------------------- ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [email protected] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?aVxiDo.a2i8p1 Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
