For those of you who have been following Andr�'s progress as he cycles
across Canada, I received a telephone call from him today outlining his
approach to Ottawa. Unfortunately, with work and holidays, he realizes that
there may not be many/any to cycle into town with him! However, he has
given me details of his route and, all going well, he should be arriving in
Ottawa on Friday, July 12.
Tues., July 9 -- Orillia
Wed., July 10 -- Bancroft
Thurs., July 11 -- Renfrew
Friday, July 12 -- route into Ottawa
Follow river to Arnprior, #1 to #3, Madawaska
Blvd., Hwy 17 to Galetta Side Road, Woodkilton which changes to 2nd
Line, Old Carp Road, March Road to Corkstown, Carling to his home.
He invites anyone to cycle out and join him as he cycles into Ottawa. He
plans on spending the weekend at least catching up on this and that before
heading east for the final push.
Of interest, Robin Hittos, on his drive back to Victoria, "ran" into Andr�
in Wawa. Robin cycled east with Andr� for 70 km. before continuing his
drive west.
