Sorry Cyclists Been rather busy! Last Tuesday Night tour was a 62 Km tour to Kanata. 18 cyclist started the tour and 17 finished. One new member dropped out of the slow group after going one block and informing us that she was going to go her own way.
I depended on a Rand McNally, Ottawa map book for this tour as I had not got the chance to do the complete ride. The book showed that Terry Fox joined Richardson Side Road which I knew better but with all the construction in that area and not being there for over a year I went with the map. No Terry Fox does not yet reach Richardson Side Road. However, the fast group choose to have a flat at that spot allowing the slow group to join them and thanks to Patt who knew the side roads to take to Terry Fox we were on our way again, only to have a member of the slow group flat on Hunt Club. Yes we made it back in the dark again. but with lights no problem. Tonight's tour will be only 44 Km's long. It will be the CFB Rockcliffe, Rockcliffe Pkwy., Ridge Road Tour. Hopefully we will make it back with light to spare.
