You guys are really spoiled. Try living in Montreal for 40 years. You want bridge crossings to die for? Head for the Mercier. Bring a priest.
I think the Champlain is super - even if I flatted on Thursday coming home from Gatineau. There's no problem with the paint job or lane crossings, and it's only a matter of time before the bike lanes are swept; there's no reason to think these will accumulate debris any more than Island Park does presently. Each bike lane is (just) wide enough to accommodate cyclists going in both directions and the expansion joints are wide enough to keep the roller bladers in stitches. I only hope the powers that be keep the bike lanes and sidewalk plowed and salted during the winter. ------------------------------------------------- For list help, please send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Club Office: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (613) 230-1064 Website: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.cyberus.ca/~obcweb Newsletter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------- ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [email protected] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?aVxiDo.a2i8p1 Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
