Ian Austen sent me a note and asked me to relay to the list that the Cyclocross season will be starting on the 29th of September, not the 22nd as it is currently listed in the Spokesperson.
To answer Ian Everard's question about training races: Tuesday evenings are the NRC Crits until Sept 24th (http://bike-bodygear.com/seenite/index2.html). After that's done, in the past, a few of us have gotten together at the Carlington Hill (behind the J. Alph Dulude arena at 941 Clyde Ave) on Tuesday or Thursday evenings to run/ride around the course that we used to use in the series, and do some technical training (dismounts at speed etc) and hill sprints. Nothing as organized as a race though, mostly because we either didn't have the numbers (and barriers etc), or didn't have the light (it gets dark pretty early).
