Apparently (according to John W.) 22 of us got up for the last 40km TT of the Almonte Bicycle Club (so it looks as if I'm missing the name of a DNF'er). Anyway, there were a several new PB's and, once again Sheila Kealey improved the women's course record - taking another 40 seconds off to be fourth overall in 63:16. In terms of the women finishers, the first 4 all PB'ed: Sheila Kealey 63:16 (40 sec improvement). Allison McKay 64:33 (58 sec improvement). Erika Revesz 65:46 (11 sec improvement). Andrea McKay 66:28 (1:02 improvement). There were two sub-hour performances amongst the men, and the first three placers were: Richard Hinz 58:42 Colin Campbell 59:26 Russ Redshaw 62:08 Colin's ride, his first 40km TT of the season, was likely his PB on this course. The other times I have recorded for him have progressed downwards from 64:20 in 2000 to 62:03 in 2001 to today's 59:26! Other male PB's are: Bob Chlebek 71:57 (improvment of 18 seconds). Tom Kemp 69:24 (huge improvment of 2:35!)
