The Josef and Anni Albers Foundation has an ongoing internship program.
Interns work closely with the Foundation’s staff and are exposed to many
different areas of museum operations. Activities include assisting with
the organization, storage, and documentation of the collection;
preparation of exhibitions; research; and general administrative support.

The internships are intended primarily for college juniors and seniors and
graduate students. A major in Art History or related field is recommended,
and knowledge of German is an advantage but not a necessity. Interns have
access to the Foundation’s collection, library, and archive, and the
unique opportunity to closely interact with visiting artists, scholars,
and museum professionals.

Besides summer internships which run from June through August, applicants
wishing to do part-time internships during the school year, or graduating
or recently graduated students interested in longer period full-time
internships (from 3 to 6 months), are also encouraged to apply.
Internships are supported by modest stipends.

To apply, please send letter of interest, a resume, and names and
telephone numbers of two references to the Foundation
