It is an exciting opportunity to undertake funded PhD research into the interstices between the practice and the public reception of art, as exemplified by Tate Modern. The lead academic is Dr Bernadette Buckley and full time awards in 2007/2008 will provide a maintenance payment of £12,600 and tuition fees of up to a maximum of £3240. Preference will be given to applicants who have a Masters level degree and/or relevant research experience and training.
