For the 2007 edition, the annual date with ArtExperience moves to
Istanbul: four days of workshop during which young artists and students
will discuss and work with some of the main players of the contemporary
art world on the different meanings of Modernity in art and architecture
from global/local perspectives.
ArtExperience has, since the beginning in 2004, a will to be an
experimental working space which tries to merge art and architecture in a
unique field, inviting artists and architects to work in a cross-border
area.
The aim of AE Istanbul is to create an open field for generating new
ideas, suggestions, experimentations like in a process of ongoing
experience, reflecting on the condition of art today in connection with
other fields.
ArtExperience will conclude on Saturday, September the 15th, with a round
table open to the public.
The whole initiative takes place at santralistanbul.
The participation to the workshop is free of charge, applications are open
till August, 31.
