Ten projects will be chosen by an international jury. The composition of the jury and the competition rules may be found on the website: http://www.zebrastraat.be The presentation of the selected works will take place at the same time as the « Update II » exposition of interactive artworks from the Centre for Art and Media (ZKM) in Karlsruhe (Germany); the ZKM is internationally known as the leading museum of new media. Professor Peter Weibel, Director of the ZKM, will choose artworks from this prestigious collection. During the "Update II" exposition (from 20/4 to 6/7/2008), to be held at the Zebrastraat Ghent, one of the projects presented will be awarded a cash prize of 5000 euros by the "New Technologies / Liedts-Meesen Foundation Award". A People's award will also be given based on visitors' assessments of this double exposition.
