November 2008 Festival HAIP predstavlja multimedijske umetnostne oblike, ki izhajajo iz kreativne rabe odprtih tehnologij. V slovenskem kulturnem prostoru predstavlja dela mednarodnih mladih obetajočih in uveljavljenih umetnikov in kreativnih inenirjev ter skupin, ki so usmerjeni v vrhunske, z odprtimi standardi podprte umetnosti in multimedijske umetnike prakse. Festival HAIP 08, letos tretji po vrsti, se bo odvijal v Ljubljani med 3. in 8. novembrom 2008. Trenutno ičemo projekte e uveljavljenih in e uveljavljajočih se umetnikov / inenirjev, ki obravnavajo izbrano festivalsko temo: Hacktopija ter delujejo v polju odprtih tehnologij in copyleft-a. Prijava mora vsebovati izpolnjeno prijavnico, dokumentarni material in predstavitev projekta (vizualna ali/in tekstovna) v formatu A4. Rok prijave: 21. april 2008 (potni ig) Vse prispele predstavitve projektov v formatu A4 bodo morda tudi razstavljene v okviru festivala HAIP 08. Selekcija projektov, ki bodo realizirani in predstavljeni na festivalu HAIP 08, bo zaključena 12. maja 2008. Kontaktirani bodo le uspeni kandidati. English: Ljubljana, Slovenia, 3 - 8 November 2008 HAIP Festival represents multimedia artistic forms emerging from the use of open technologies. It introduces young emerging artists and creative engineers to Slovene cultural space and broader Paneuropean space with orientation towards cutting edge, open source technologically supported arts and multimedia artistic practices that are perceived as current creative and free uses of technology. The 3rd edition of the festival, HAIP 08, will take place in Ljubljana from the 3rd to the 8th of November 2008. We are currently seeking art projects, from established, mid-career, and emerging artists / engineers, that address the theme selected for the festival: Hacktopia and are working in the field of open source and copyleft activities. The application must include the completed application form, supporting material, and a project presentation (visual and/or text) on A4 sheet. All the project presentations on A4 sheet might be exhibited in this format during the festival HAIP 08. For the selection of projects to be realized and presented during the festival HAIP 08, decisions will be made on May 12th, 2008.
