[a=v] announcing: A hands-on, playful workshop in Munich SENSITIVE CIRCUITS IN THEIR COLLECTIVE froWARD (Solar circuits for kinetic sound_movement_light) With RALF SCHREIBER (Cologne)
June Tue 3. to Fr 6. 2008 (16:00 to 22:00) June Fr 6. 20:00 - If something collective happens it will be organic. At Lothringer13/Laden. Lothringerstr. 13, 81667, Munich. Registration till 25. May'08 at http://www.aa-vv.org/?av_02010101 The workshop is about: ~ Suneater-beam-technology and solarsoundmodules. ~ Basics of electronic components and special aesthetic of low-energetic highly sensitive electronic circuits. ~ Electronic sound production and oscillators in general. The modules can be used as a simple synthesizers, sequencers or drum/beat processors and be amplified. ~ Light projection by means of using beam and overhead technology. ~ Self-powered collective installation. What you can build: ~ Smallest synthesizer-, simple sequencer-, piezo preamplifier-, amplifier-, inductive detector circuits and special solar-engines to drive all that with small solar panels. ~ Simple self kinetic, self animated-screen-objects for overhead projectors. ~ If you have an electronic background, you can build more complex circuits: solar power extensions for arduino u-processors, new advanced solar engines and complex solar sound circuits. ~ Your own circuits or extend using solar technology those, developed during your previous workshops. Regulations: ~ Admission is FREE ~ Electronic kits and parts will cost from 15,- to 35,- Euro, depending on use and to be purchased from Ralf Schreiber. ~ If you have a soldering iron, multimeter, tools for soldering, bring them. ~ Travel-/accommodation costs the participants pay themselves. Ralf Schreiber: Kinetic sound artist, solar robot tinkerer, circuit bender. Based in Cologne. www.ralfschreiber.com Further details: http://www.aa-vv.org/?av_020103 On-line registration: http://www.aa-vv.org/?av_02010101 Contact: E-mail: workshop[at]aa-vv[dot]org Tel: +49 (0)89 36039672 http://aa-vv.org ~ Organized by Natalia Borissova within [a=v] workshop-series exploring all possible DIY approaches in the electronic-constructions, creation of projects and collective expressions.
