The network is functioning on two main levels. Through its *website* (www.movinganthropology.de), which includes more than 1300 students worldwide, providing space for discussion, and exchange of info. Secondly, MASN connects *undergraduate, MA, and PhD* * students* through *international conferences*, where they can exchange their research experience and ideas face-to-face. Up to now, there have been five conferences organised (in Austria, Croatia, Poland, Germany, and Italy upcoming in May 2008). MASN was created to constructively connect students of ethnology and anthropology, and others interested in its ways and topics, independently from institutional spheres and already established academic hierarchies. *ABOUT MASN SLOVENIA:* The conference is organised by students of the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, through Organisation KUC (www.skuc.org), and will be held at the Slovenian-Croatian border, in the smallest Slovenian municipality of Osilnica. Following the first three days (papers, workshops, roundtables), we will organise a short 2-day "fieldwork" on both sides of the border.
