ISSP shall take place in Ludza, Latvia from August 2 to 10, 2008. The goals of the ISSP are to educate young photographers, expanding and deepening their perception of the genre. Since its launch in 2006, the event has received excellent feedback from both participants and teachers. The summer school is seen as important contribution to building a platform for creative dialogue among the young photographers in Latvia and internationally. ISSP 2008 will offer 5 thematic workshops, led by distingushed photography professionals from Spain, Greece, Hungary, Germany and Latvia. 50 participants (10 per workshop) will be selected based on application forms. Participation is open to students from Latvia and other countries foreign applicants are welcome to apply! We invite interested individuals fulfilling the general requirements to send in their applications till 12 June, 2008. The results of the selection process will be communicated by the end of June.
