Work that perhaps subvert the usual electronic and digital methods of communication or question why dialogue is important? This interpretation could be as simple as a âmessage in a bottleâ, dialogue systems or in the likes of James Lee Byers, ornate, decorative and detailed sculptural letters. It could encounter political statements or disperse cultural observations; correspondence that is not immediate but perhaps exists on the contingencies of travel. *Who * Visual artists are invited to submit artworks and writers are invited to submit short texts that encompass these notions. All material and media will be considered. And all national and international artists and writers welcome. Gallery owners are welcome to express their interest in hosting this show in their venue. *Where and when* The exhibition will take place at Broadwalk Arts Space in Bristol from 19thJuly 2009 to 24 th July 2009.
