for films under the creative commons license http://www.wolfwerke.de/GIGUK/english.htm Artists can submit original work in two categories: Clips : videoworks < 10 minutes One Minutes : videoworks < 60 seconds Films could be art fim, documentary or narrative short film. There is no festival theme. Films must be playable at regular DVD players. Eligibility requirements: Everybody is allowed to participate at GIGUK. Participation at the contest is free of charge. Winners of the GIGUK VideoArt Festival will be appointed by an independent jury or by the choice of audience. After all it is matter of the very own decision of the organizers to divide the prizes between the participators. Legal process excluded. Participators obligate themselves to hold all copy rights in terms of all used footage and film scores on their films. They do not hurt any laws of individual or public matter with their films. Participators do own contracts or permission documents of all concerned persons to the production. The Film may not include any pornografic, rasicst, inhuman or discriminatory contents. Organizer of GIGUK do not guarantee for any hurts of law by the participators as described in this regulations. Organizer is not responsible for the films of the participators. Please do not send any films, if you do not agree to these regulations. By submitting a film, you agree, that your film might be shown at events closly related to GIGUK Gießen VideoArt Festival. Please license your film under the creative commons license.
