*Summer residence for contemporary dance and theatre artists* *Term of residence **:1st July- 1st August 2010 The deadline for applications : 1st May* Residence is held on STANTSIA art venue and gives artists an opportunity to create a performance working 6 hours a day during a 1 month and premiere it at the end of residence. STANTSIA art venue was started in 2009 in a former factory of Kostroma industrial district. Kostroma is the old Russian city situated on the picturesque bank of the Volga river, 330 km to the north-east of Moscow. Professional dancers, performers and actors (no students please) are invited to take part in the contest. No more than 3 people or one company can participate. Artists are provided with accommodation and stage space for work. Artists have to cover travel and production costs and perform the piece created during the residence period free of charge. Materials to be posted: a letter; CV ( 1 page); 3-5 photos on CD and a DVD with 2-3 previous pieces. Address: 3a Erohova Street, 156002, Kostroma, STANTSIA Art Venue.
