Anjalika Sagar and Kodwo Eshun are art world insiders and artist-researchers. They travel extensively to investigate the politically troubled parts of the planet, and at the same time, also hold a relevant, non-market oriented position in the London art world. The collective makes film-essays, curates exhibitions and film programs, and also writes texts. The films and lectures of The Otolith Group are based on research, in which archival footage, literary texts, and music are woven into multi-layered audio-visual essays. *For more information on the theme of the seminar, preparatory events, and related programs, please follow this link: * http://hu.tranzit.org/en/free_school/0/2012-02-25/seminar-the-otolith-group ERSTE Foundation is main partner of tranzit <http://www.knotland.net/index.php?id=13&tx_ttnews%5Btt_news%5D=483&cHash=903daf1680a47402cb27df41501fbcbe>
