for independent cultural and artistic organisations http://www.culturalfoundation.eu/grants/collaborat Collaboration Grants are awarded to cultural organisations working together across different countries of wider Europe. The next call will be opened on 1 February 2013 with a deadline on 25 March 2013. Collaboration grants fund transnational activities carried out by independent cultural organisations in partnership with various types of organisations both within the cultural sector and beyond. Collaboration Grants are awarded to cultural organisations working together across different countries of wider Europe (the 47 countries of the Council of Europe plus Kosovo) and/or with Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestinian Territories, Syria and Tunisia, on multidisciplinary artistic projects. At least one partner applicant must work in a sector outside the cultural field. ECF regards the ideal collaboration as one that brings a renewed understanding of Europe to people of all backgrounds, and inspires them to regard the worlds future as a shared enterprise. The average award funded is 15,000 with the maximum being 30,000. The lead applicant/cultural organisation must be based in one of the following European countries: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia (FYROM), Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. Partnering applicants can be based in one of the above-mentioned European countries and/or in one of the following countries: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestinian Territories, Syria and Tunisia. (We encourage cooperation with this region, as long as the content of the project clearly relates to European cross-border cooperation.) On 1 February 2013 the next call for collaboration grants will be opened. As of second half of January 2013 you will be able to access the updated guidelines on this webpage. Please note that for our 2013 Collaboration Grants call we will be specifically looking for cross-sectoral collaborations involving local communities, with projects that contribute to the ongoing debate on Europe and Europes place in the world.
