29th Warsaw Film Festival - call for entries On March 15, the 29th Warsaw Film Festival, which will take place October 11-20, 2013, starts accepting submissions for this year's edition. The festival operates since 1985 and belongs to the elite group of 14 most important competitive international film festivals in the world. In the International Competition, the priority is given to world, international and European premieres. The films in the WFF's program must be absolute Polish premieres. Competitive sections: 1. International Competition - for feature films from all over the world. 2. Competition 1-2 - for first and second feature films by directors from all over the world. 3. Free Spirit Competition - for independent, innovative, rebellious films from all over the world. 4. Documentary Competition - for feature length (over 60 mins.) documentaries from all over the world. 5. Short Films Competition - for short films from all over the world (30 mins. or less).
