зустрічей
«Архітектура можливостей»

Метою проекту «Архітектура
можливостей» є вироблення концепції
багатофункціонального культурного
центру, який потенційно може бути
відкритий в історичному центрі Києва,
на території колишньої швейної
фабрики «Юність».
Завдяки налагодженню співпраці між
представниками різних активістських
соціальних, художніх та професійних
спільнот планується випрацювати
модель такої інституції, яка змогла б
поєднати елементи соціального та
культурного центру та стати місцем
створення нових можливостей, нових
історій та нових ідентичностей.
Чотири робочі групи складаються з
фахівців соціальної та культурної
сфери. Кожна з груп працюватиме окремо,
хоча й матиме доступ до спільних
матеріалів, ідей і концепцій.
Результатом цих колективних
обговорень стане презентація
розробленої моделі під час п’ятої
відкритої зустрічі, запланованої на
кінець квітня.
Перша зустріч з київськими
активістами відбулася 1 квітня.
Наступними будуть робочі зустрічі
представників мистецької спільноти,
культурних менеджерів та архітекторів.
Напрацювання п’яти зустрічей –
розроблена модель, відео робочого
процесу та інші матеріали – будуть
презентовані під час травневих
заходів, які пройдуть у Києві в рамках
проекту SPACES.
«Робоча кімната» – це розмова про
мистецтво як про процес, у кімнаті, де
не можна проводити виставки, в
інституції, яка нічого не виставляє. В
«Робочій кімнаті» аудиторія стає
активним учасником проекту, вона
розбирає метод художника та ділиться з
ним своїми думками. Художник розбирає
спостереження аудиторії. Вони
працюють разом.
Юрій Кручак – учасник багатьох
українських і міжнародних проектів,
ініціатор artist-run space «Відкритий
простір». Роботи Юрія Кручака у
відкритому просторі трансформують
глядачів у акторів, створюючи
спільноту, поведінка та взаємодія якої
дають підґрунтя для інтерпретації та
виявлення соціальних структур у
міському середовищі.
SPACES – це міжнародний трирічний проект
за участі незалежних мистецьких
інституцій країн Східної Європи. Його
основна мета – пошук нових стратегій
відновлення міських просторів завдяки
мистецьким практикам та ініціативам.
Партнерами проекту є Utopiana.am (Вірменія),
GeoAIR (Грузія), Oberliht (Молдова) та CSM
(Україна). Проект координує
дослідницький інститут Oikodrom (Австрія);
консультативний партнер – асоціація
Slobodne Veze (Хорватія).
Проект SPACES фінансовано Культурною
програмою Східного партнерства
Європейського Союзу.

Architecture of opportunities has an aim to elaborate a concept of a
multifunctional cultural centre, which could be established at the
location of the former Soviet sewing factory Yunist in the heart of
the historical Kyiv.
A model of an institution that would combine elements of both social
and cultural centres and become space for creation of new
opportunities, histories, and identities will be created via means of
collaboration between representatives of different activist social,
art, and professional communities.
Four working groups will work separately but have excess to shared
materials, ideas, and concepts and will consist of professionals in
their fields of expertise. The results of their brainstorming work
will be presentated in the form of the elaborated model during the
fifth meeting open for the public (end of April).
The first working session took place on April 1 in CSM and created a
discussion platform for the Kyiv activists. Sessions for the art
community, cultural managers, and architects will follow later this
month.
The outcome of these sessions – the elaborated model, video of the
working process and other materials – will be presented during the
May events in the framework of the SPACES project in Kyiv.
WORKING ROOM is a platform for talk about art as a process, which
takes place in the institution that does not exhibit anything. The
audience becomes an active participant of every project, analyses the
artists’ method and reflects on it. The artist in turn analyses these
reflections. Thus, both the artist and the audience are involved in
the creative process.
Yuriy Kruchak is a participant of numerous Ukrainian and international
projects, initiator of the artist-run space Open Place. His works in
public spaces transform spectators into actors, creating a community
whose behavior and interaction provide the basis for interpretation
and identification of social structures in the urban environment.
SPACES is an international three-year project involving independent
art institutions in Eastern Europe. Its aim is to search for the new
strategies for revitalization of urban spaces through artistic
practices and initiatives. The project partners are Utopiana.am
(Armenia), GeoAIR (Georgia), Oberliht (Moldova) and CSM (Ukraine). It
is coordinated by the research institute Oikodrom (Austria); its
consultative partner is association Slobodne Veze (Croatia).
SPACES is financed by the Eastern Partnership Culture Programme of the
European Union.
