The IDFA Bertha Fund supports documentary filmmakers in and from
developing countries
(http://www.oecd.org/dac/stats/DAC%20List%20used%20for%202012%20and%202013%20flows.pdf)
by offering them financial contributions to complete their projects.
The fund is looking for new creative documentary projects from these
countries, which can be submitted in the following categories: (1)
Project Development, (2) Production, and (3) Post-production.
In this second round of 2013, it is also possible to submit a project
in the category Other Activities (Documentary Festivals). The Fund is
looking for activities dedicated to the screening of documentaries and
taking place in developing countries.
The IDFA Bertha Fund will work with the selected filmmakers and
organizations to determine if any other form of assistance and coaching
is necessary for the project.
Regulations
The deadline to submit a project for the second selection round of 2013
is May 15, 2013. Please note that the Fund has new regulations as of
January 2013! There are different regulations for every category. For

Submit through MyIDFA
In order to submit a project to the IDFA Bertha Fund, you need a MyIDFA
user account, fior which you can register here. With this account you
can then submit entry forms to the IDFA Bertha Fund, as well as to IDFA,

Le IDFA Bertha Fund soutienne les réalisateurs des documentaires dans
les pays émergeants

en leur offrant une contribution financière pour réaliser leurs
projets. Le fonds est à la recherche des nouveaux projets documentaires
créatifs dans ces pays. Les projets peuvent être soumis aux catégories
suivantes: (1) développement de projet, (2) production, et (3)
postproduction.
Pour la date butoir de mois de mai 2013, il est aussi possible de
soumettre un projet dans la catégorie autres activités (festival du
documentaire). Le fonds est à la recherche des activités dévoués à la
projection des documentaires et qui se déroulent dans les pays
émergeants.
Nous travaillerons avec les réalisateurs et les organisations pour
évaluer si un autre type d’aide ou d’encadrements sont nécessaire pour
la realisation du projet.
Règlement
La deuxième ronde de sélection du 2013 du IDFA Bertha Fund s’approche.
La date limite pour inscrire des projets est le 15 mai. Prière de noter
que le règlement du fonds a changez à partir de 2013. Vous pouvez
