Congolese choreographer, director and dancer Faustin Linyekula now runs Studios
Kabako

, a cultural centre for artistic education, research and creation in
Democratic Republic of the Congo. Formed as an artist in native Kisangani, he
attended dance workshops in France. His career has been meteoric, and since
several years ago he has been choreographing and directing at prestigious
theatres and festivals in Europe, although his most interesting projects remain
those with Congolese dancers.
